Vienna’s tradition-steeped café and confectionery AIDA is expanding throughout Austria. In mid-May, a further location outside of the greater Vienna area was opened, a branch in the middle of downtown Innsbruck between the Landesklinikum and university. Dominik Prousek, the fourth generation of the family-run company, is overjoyed to be bringing a piece of Viennese tradition to Tyrol, to his mother’s home city of Innsbruck.
The beautiful old architectural elements have been revitalized and wonderfully staged with the delicate Aida pink. Warm wood decorates the interior space together with old pictures from Aida’s past. Little details such as the pink buttons on the chairs or the embroideries of coffee images on the back of the chairs complete the design.
