With their latest project “Das Bootshaus”, the Querfeld family is blazing “new trails in the water” and combining two passions: rowing and gastronomy. 

Stylistically, the cafétiers joined forces with us to dive into the waters of the traditional British sport of rowing and bring this atmosphere to Vienna. For the staging, we turned to high-quality materials such as dark brown leather, copper and oak, as well as original decorative elements. Wood paneling, old lockers and wall bars and sports equipment provide a truly authentic “gym feeling”. Providing the perfect finish to the rowing club flair is a light, open roof truss in a muted white, from which a crystal chandelier from England and a rowboat hang. In summer, guests can relish in the pleasant atmosphere on the spacious terrace directly by the water.
