The city hotel “Das Himberg” is setting new standards in the region. Following the revitalization of 40 rooms as well as all common areas such as the lobby, the breakfast room and the bar area, the hotel is now gleaming with new brilliance. Subdued colors were deliberately chosen for the new design, on the one hand to give the room an elegant touch, and on the other to preserve its feel-good, cozy character.
In the rooms, blue fabrics harmonize with gray nuances on the walls. Ocher-colored decorative cushions, lamps and chairs break up the color concept and provide a gentle contrast. The color hue of ocher runs throughout the entire building in general, and is represented in the bar as well as the breakfast room. When choosing the fabrics, it was important to use very soft materials in order to evoke the constant feeling of a “home away from home” in the guests.
The assortment of materials used in the common areas is incredibly diverse and of high quality. Genuine stones, dark stained wood paneling and real moss combine to create an impressive overall picture.
