When developing the new design concept for the guest rooms, the intention was to tangibly shine a spotlight on the proximity to the Vienna Secession exhibition building. With this in mind, this historical era of Vienna was translated into a modern design concept. For the interior, the design team drew on striking stylistic elements from Art Nouveau, such as classical furniture, brass, velvet and dark wood.
Recurring throughout the wall and fabric textures are numerous Jugendstil colors and patterns with a contemporary twist. The result is an elegant ambience that is somewhat playful yet still masterfully light in its implementation.
