Owner Erich Windisch and his Zündwerk staff have been winning over biker fans and pleasure-seekers since 2013. Based on the motto “It’s always a pleasure!”, the new concept blends perfectly with the existing establishments of the successful Lower Austrian combination of steak restaurant and motel. In the extra-snug yet exclusive 20s parlour flair, guests are warmly welcomed to kick back and relax.
Dark wood in the wall paneling, on the raised platform area and on the inviting library wall convey a homey character. Elegant chandeliers, floor-length soft curtains in the 7 meter high room and amusing black and white portrait pictures of music and film idols create a cozy atmosphere. Antique elements and one-off pieces such as old mirrors, carpets or wooden sideboards give off a down-to-earth feeling of being at home. For those who enjoy engaging in activities in the “living room” rather than simply relaxing, there is plenty of space around the sociable billiard table or by the open fireplace in an intellectual exchange with other visitors.
The culinary offer features a selection of tapas, a journey through Spain and Mexico, accompanied by a piece of home in the form of delicacies from the beautiful region.
